MY LIFE EXPERIENCE - 5

OWNERSHIP It is usually seen that in the crime, law & order scenarios, whenever a verdict is awarded punishment by the court of law, most of the prisoners say that they had committed the offence unknowingly or while committing heinous acts they were in abnormal state of mind.  When these person returns to their natural state of mind (senses) then they regret for their acts and repent upon their action but by the time it is too late and they are awarded suitably by the court of law. It usually occurs with each individual in day to day life, if not crime but usually people escalate to negative thoughts several times a day.  This happens as a reaction to other peoples unfair action towards us. Since it happens several times a day, hence an individual who thinks mentally negative either to safeguard himself or for the purpose of causing harm to others is slowly and slowly day after day developing a habit of creating negative thoughts in his mind. His patterns of thinking c...

KARMA Since my childhood, my parents, teachers and all elderly people used to remind me often that if I do anything which harms any living creatures then the almighty shall punish us in many forms.  Due to that basic threat, I used to refrain myself from doing any evil acts.  But at times whenever I used to commit such act erroneously, one like stealing a coloured sketch pen from my friends geometry box etc, I later used to pray God to forgive me for that act.  This sort of incidences might have encountered by many during their childhood days.  Later, when I grew up, learnt from various sources that a humans are rewarded or punished according to their deeds which is termed as KARMA.   Now in matured state, I used to think that these principles are made by old sages and dharmik peoples of those days in order to maintain law & order, peace & harmony in the society but later through many practical incidences, I came to know that this Law Of Universe...

SELF HEALING In today's toxic world, diseases are quite common in all households.  Diseases cover physical and psychological both.  In case of any ailment our next thought is to go and visit the doctor, pay hefty fees and consume tons of medicines which at times results in side effects in our internal systems.  Agreed that during an acute stage, one has no other alternative other than to seek medical help but I presume there are ways and methods to keep away from conceiving ailments, if practiced on a regular basis.  It is only the mind which controls your body.  The mind has to be nourished everyday with good and positive thoughts / affirmations about its body.  The foremost thing to practice is "SELF LOVE".  This means the mind should love its own body and always bless it with positive affirmation such as "I am young & energetic", I love myself, all my internal systems are perfectly performing, I am a hard & smart worker and my body always...

MEDITATION In this fast paced world today almost everyone is being heard of suffering from stress, depression and psychological imbalance syndrome.  The ultimate solution being advised by friends, doctors, neighbors, bosses, colleagues and even by a layman is to perform a rituals of at least 15 minutes of meditation each day.  According to them, this practice will calm one's anxiety and sooth the nerves and finally result in enabling an individual in taking a stable decision in all areas of their life.  Also it is believed to have an positive aspect of the biological health of an individual thereby developing more anti-aging cells in the body which might delay the aging process. I too was terribly interested on the subject hence had been practicing meditation everyday for around 15-20 mints.  Initially, I faced a lot problem in emptying my mind as they say that you should stop all thoughts happening in the mind only then you would get the total benefit of medita...

Early retirement

Retirement is understood to be a life phase ehen there is no much of hard work to do and one can leisurely spend his 24 hours in anyway one likes. It is a kind of freedom when time and punctuality is no more a factor. Also one doesn't have to fix himself within defined framework of work schedule and timings. In order to enjoy this state, I voluntarily retired myself from an active job life at the age of 52. I enjoyed the so called freedom for about 2 months and presently I am so depressed with my loneliness. Earlier my mobile used to ring at frequent intervals in relation to my job activities but now none is calling me up. When I attempt calling someone, they cut short the conversation saying they are busy. Now I realize that the retired phase of life is one of the most suicidial state of ones life more so if it is before the superannuation age. Being occupied engaged and busy is indeed a perfect eay to a healthy life, physically and mentally both.
